Help me please laptop screen ?

i got a windows update because i get a option to postpone are to do it now usually i postpone but it said it was recommended so i got it and it said to restart my laptop so i did it but when it came back on the screen was all black and when i tried to put icons on my desktop but it wouldnt let me but i can put a wallpaper on but when i turn my laptop off it gos away alsp i cant right click what can i do please help because i only got my laptop on christmas
