Can i run for public office?

ok, im 16, and live in Newport News VA is there a small public office that anybody thinks i can win??? I'm very knowledgeable of politics and very pionate in whatever i do Ive campaigned for democrats and republicans alike so i know how to run the business, i would love to be elected!
