Any suggestions on recovering from sadness that my mom sold my childhood home that my father built? I'm 45!?

I just can't get over the sadness, we all grew up there any our dogs who died over the years are buried in the back yard. The sadness and melancholy can be so overwhelming during the day it's troublesome.
