Why is BP getting the blame over the mistakes made by Transocean?

So you are telling us BP knew they had a faulty safety value. If so then who do you blame? Look, there is plenty of blame to go around. BP, Transocean and Haliburton will be facing litigation for years. The immediate concern is stopping the flow and cleaning up the mess.
