IF space is freezing cold?

You need water vapor for there to be condensation buildup. Space is a vacuums, there is almost nothing out there to condense and whatever water there is out there has long frozen into ice. It is interesting to note that micrometeorites do slam into space craft but these tiny particles of ice are too few and far between to be an appreciable source of water.
