Would I get stopped or turned away if I brought Medication through an airport?

I have epilepsy and take medication mornings and nights. If I just put the tablets in my bag, if, at heathrow airport my bag got searched and they were found, would they be taken from me or even worse, would I be sent away and denied access to the country I'm travellin to? (Australia)
