How do you deal with a bossy proud woman when she won't give?

Ive been going out with this girl for about 2 years now. Since we've moved to the big city, shes gotten hard, bitter, bossy, and generally cold on me from time to time. What should I do in order to make her realize that i'm not gonna take this **** for much longer, without making it seem like an ultimatum?
